Events 2019
Roger hosts regular talks, demonstrations and charity events around a variety of horticultural subjects including ‘Using Plants to Best Effect’ and ‘Exhibiting Gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show’ both at the nurseries in Kent and throughout the UK by appointment for groups, tour companies and garden related talks.
Here’s a look at Roger’s up-coming events for 2017:
Musbury Horticultural Society. Roger gives a talk on ‘Principles of Gardening’.
Hadlow College Garden Design Event. The event is aimed at gardeners whose design is limited to window boxes and containers through to those who have very large gardens – and everything in between. The event will be held in the Hadlow College Design Studios and will commence at 6pm with registration, a buffet supper and networking. The formal part of the evening will commence at 7pm. Roger gives a brief talk on his career and successes at The Chelsea Flower Show.

NGS Garden Open 2017. Roger will be opening his private garden ‘Leydens’ again this year to support the NGS charities. Visitors are welcome to look round the garden and the nursery between 12pm and 5pm. Teas and biscuits are available.
Perennial Garden Event. ‘An Evening with Roger Platts’. Tour of garden and nursery, talk by Roger and light refreshments. Tickets £55. 6pm-8.30pm
