‘People’s Choice’ goes to M&G Garden

A surprised Roger was caught off guard on Saturday 29th May as Show Manager Alex Denman and the BBC’s Joe Swift came back to film his Chelsea garden one last time and present him with the People’s Choice Award.

All week visitors to the show, and those watching television coverage, have been able to vote for their favourite show garden online. Roger is more than delighted with this prestigious accolade following hot in the steps of his gold medal earlier in the week.

“This really is a wonderful result and I am truly astounded – what a way to finish the show!” says Roger. “Thank you to everyone who voted and to my amazing team who has worked extremely hard to make this garden such an accomplishment. I am most delighted because the award really does reflect what people enjoy from a garden. My first passion is plants and the whole point in creating something like this is so that everybody has the opportunity to take away ideas and inspiration for their own creations. I am tremendously thankful to M&G Investments for allowing me the opportunity to exhibit at the Chelsea Flower Show this year.”
